History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ekemon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Ekemon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ekemon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He keeps his long white fur kept up in a rat tail. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Servant business.

History: Three was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
