Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Morkral embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Morkral lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His brown hair is cut short. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mortician who has hired him part-time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vonbin studied abroad. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Windy lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Zook enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Zook was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
