History: Gorbundus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Frug was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now owns his own business.
