History: He was born in a small plains village. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Richard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
