In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Orryn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Fragrant was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
