History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Barfa was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
