History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: Ratak was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
