History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born in the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sickle with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His tied-back hair is red. He has brown eyes and a blue hat with a red feather.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gimble alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and retire the richest man in the west

History: Burto lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
