History: Fonkin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
