Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Umpen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Jak speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
