He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in a small island village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Umpen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Umpen abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Maagog was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cook. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
