Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. His crest is red and very short. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rivaan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rivaan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rivaan. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sellsword. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
