He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Nicholas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
