He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Amnon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy

Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
