He found a children's book about a Elf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
