Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a nunchaku and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Damien was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tree alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he wants revenge against orcs
