History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Fonkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has worked as a Fortune-teller like his mother before him.

One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Elf Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
