When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a Animal Trainer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Alberich's homeland. Alberich decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

He found a children's book about a Halfling Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
