Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.

He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
