Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Unemployed but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He now owns his own business.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is short and silver. This gold eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Xappan was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to work out more often

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a morningstar, but if one is not available he will default to his mace, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He is a Sage first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Thamior learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His black hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This younger middle-aged man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His head has been shaved. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love
