Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a tan tunic with green highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has black fur. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vlorn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a violet coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: The child of a Laborer, who enjoyed hunting, Shump was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Laborer father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: Gifted from a young age, Immeral studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nazdûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
