History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the north to a Tailor, Holg learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Holg liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
