The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Fenriz took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Being a Carpenter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age.
