His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and many gnolls want him driven away
