History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and human compassion

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Sapply's homeland. Sapply decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He stands about 3'1" and usually wears his brown robe and has his dagger always slung over his shoulder. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is long and brown with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Bucklal was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fisher. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Dayereth is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bellfounder business.

History: Dayereth was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has decided he is irredeemable
