History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Ratlûg took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

He prefers to carry a ceremonial dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Randal reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel.
