Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
