History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: This man is very fat, and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His brown hair is braided into rings. His black eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Mantus speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mantus was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
