Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Charles's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. Charles was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miner. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Sammal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Sammal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult
