History: Born in the south to a Bricklayer, Veit learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Veit was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears long strands of ruby and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He wears his blue crest up. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a Scribe first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Kerkad was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has moderate length black hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Umpen's homeland. Umpen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: This northern man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Gormogord was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fisher. He has worked as a Fisher like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fisher responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he desires power and/or immortality
