Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Shifting is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He dresses like a well dressed Painter does. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Rimple learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love
