Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Fonkin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, white shirt, and brown tie. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Damien was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This man wears dull brown sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed dagger, just in case. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. He wears his silver hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He hates Dwarves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to find somewhere to settle down
