He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a deep hatred of illithids
