History: Shadow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His blonde hair is knotted and matted. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Wrenn embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the west
