His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he dresses like a well dressed Unemployed does. He wears his chestnut hair up. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Fabien was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Fabien decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Thorin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
