History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Herbalist father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and elven compassion

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Qualen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life
