Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
