History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A freak accident while working with his Barrister father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rathkran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs.
