History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hobart was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
