History: Oskar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently the stress of being a Scribe has made it difficult for him to sleep.
