When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He bought a greatsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Tricking liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
