History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Xappan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Krimmon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Krimmon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Layabout who has hired him part-time. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Rimple reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel.
