Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has no hair. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Ortegar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ortegar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is content; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Erky embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
