He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Sethrekar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
