History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents enrolled him in a Druid school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a large grey jacket. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
