History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
