Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rurik grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bookbinder. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Assassin; and wants his loneliness to end
