History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: He was born in a small mountains village. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. He has done his best to style his scarlet crest to look like a famous performer. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Barber kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
