History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Akmen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Akmen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Akmen. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Akmen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Sun was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
