History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nirgel's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sailor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Sailor like his father before him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
